About the Painting

A pair of vases hold the bounty of an Oregon garden in springtime -- purple irises, red and orange rhododendron, and white dogwood blooms. The loose, impressionistic brushstrokes capture the beautiful light and color of spring.

These irises, awash in purples, oranges, and yellows, practically jump off the canvas in Hanson's newest painting. Each bloom seems to vibrate with energy, as though ready to burst into the world and unleash its untamed beauty. The interplay of light and shadow is masterful, casting the flowers in a warm, radiant glow that makes them all the more alluring.

With her signature impasto technique, Erin Hanson brings each freshly plucked bloom to the forefront. The texture of the brush strokes gives the flowers a three-dimensional feel that transports you straight into the garden. You can almost feel the petals between your fingers and smell the sweet fragrance. This painting is not just a depiction of flowers, it's a masterpiece that captures the essence of nature and beauty. Knowing that the irises were freshly plucked from the artist's garden only adds to the allure and charm of the artwork. It's a true work of art that belongs in any nature lover's collection.

"Garden Blooms" is an original oil painting on stretched canvas. The piece arrives framed in a gold floating frame.

Erin Hanson ArtistERIN HANSON has been painting in oils since she was 8 years old. As a young artist, she worked at a mural studio creating 40-foot-tall paintings on canvas, while selling art commissions on the side. After getting a degree in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley, Erin became a rock climber at Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. Inspired by the colorful scenery she was climbing, she decided to paint one painting every week for the rest of her life. She has stuck to that decision ever since, becoming one of the most prolific artists in history. Erin Hanson's style is known as "Open Impressionism" and is now taught in art schools worldwide. With thousands of collectors eagerly anticipating her work and millions of followers online, Hanson has become an iconic, driving force in the rebirth of contemporary impressionism.
